Centron Telecom has been assembling radio frequency equipment in
Beijing Olympic stadiums.
I attended a summit meeting 10 years ago and could not connect with my
partner due to the poor communications facilities. In the end I had to sit
and wait outside the venue, said executive director Yi Zhangtao.
Yi said the requirement of the Olympics Committee for facilities is
quality and stability, and price is not a vital factor.
Though the Olympics is a temporary project, it offers a great
exhibiting opportunity, which can enhance the popularity of brands, said
Yi.
The Olympics would help with expansion into overseas markets and orders
would be lifted by the issuance of 3G licenses.
The substantial contribution to profit by the Olympics construction
work not may be obvious, but it will bring long- term support, said Yi.
